NPE TELEVISION SERIES- AN INTRODUCTION

Presenters and all-round sportsmen Colin Carroll and Graham Little set out on a hilarious, on-going quest to become world champions in some of the planet’s most eccentric sports. This six-part adventure / observational series delves right in to offer a ‘hands-on’ experience of some of the world’s lesser known competitive pastimes, exposing cultural oddities, extraordinary people and extreme competition.

Irishmen Colin and Graham share a love of competing and a unique desire to become world champions of just about anything. Desperate to make their name in something, together they set up ‘No Prior Experience Ltd’ (www.nopriorexperience.com). Their mission statement is simple; “Think of a sport we’ve never done before, pronounce ourselves experts and enter the world championships to bring home the trophy”. Since turning their attention to unusual accolades, they have raced bobsleighs alongside the Russian and Latvian Olympic teams, set up Ireland’s National Sumo Federation in order to compete in the world championships in Japan, and entered the world Elephant Polo championships in Nepal. Now, they are about to embark on a series of unusual journeys that will see them battle against vastly more experienced international competitors in sports they have never tried before.

No Prior Experience is a humorous romp through some of the world’s lesser known sub-cultures. Filmed in intimate detail, the guys will fully immerse themselves into each of the increasingly bizarre global challenges. This inspiring series will question whether or not, with unshakeable determination and a lot of heart, anything is possible. One thing’s for sure, it’s going to be fun finding out. Access has been secured to film at all of the following World Championships which take place in 2008.
